Invitation Letter for Conference Visa Application

We understand that for attending the  International Conference on Teaching, Learning, and Education you may require a visa for entry into Switzerland. Here you can find some necessary information to facilitate your visa application process.

Do you need a visa to attend the Teaching, Learning, and Education conference in Zurich?

Depending on your nationality, you may need a visa to travel to Switzerland. Check this online link for up-to-date information on each nationality. 

Entry and visa regulations, in particular the visa requirement for Short-term Stay (including conferences) can be found on the website of the State Secretariat for Migration.

Where to apply for a visa?

Depending on your place of residence, you can submit your visa application either:

  • directly at a Swiss representation abroad;
  • by filling out the visa application online;
  • at an external visa service provider;
  • at the representation of another Schengen State (Please note that this is not possible in every case due to the pandemic).

Visa Information

After completing your registration for the International Conference on Teaching, Learning, and Education, the organizer will issue an official invitation letter to support your visa application. This letter will serve as confirmation of your participation in the conference and can be submitted along with your visa application to the Swiss embassy or consulate in your country.
