Dr. Laleh Tafakori is a Senior Lecturer in Statistics and Analytics at RMIT University. She was a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Melbourne (2014–2018). At RMIT, she coordinates a core postgraduate course with over 300 students each semester. She is recognised for bridging gaps in statistical understanding through authentic assessments, tiered learning support, and interactive teaching tools. She has been recognised for teaching excellence, industry engagement, and achieving top CES scores above university benchmarks.
