Dr. Maarit Laurento

Dr. Maarit Laurento has conducted educational research at the Universities of Lapland and Helsinki in Finland. She currently serves as an educational specialist for the City of Somero, where she combines administrative duties with an emphasis on literacy development. Drawing on her background in international projects, she designs literacy initiatives that integrate schools and voluntary work. While established in Finland, this approach has also been extended to Finnish students living in Spain, Greece, and Cyprus.
