Dr. Nahid Vesali

Dr. Nahid Vesali is the Head of the Department of Engineering Leadership and Program Management in The Citadel’s School of Engineering. Since joining in 2020, she has taught undergraduate and graduate courses in project management, emphasizing leadership and professional skill development. A licensed Professional Engineer (PE) and certified Project Management Professional (PMP), her background includes roles in academia, industry, and consulting. Her research focuses on risk management, decision-making under uncertainty, and AI integration in project management and engineering education. She actively contributes to national professional service through NCEES exam committees and presentations at ASEE, PMI, and other conferences.
